Film and TV work

Mechancial Skull

Hollow fiberglass life-sized skull with moving jaw bone for animatronic display in Rome Italy.

Shown prior to the fitting of the jaw air-pump control line, steel spring return hinges, application of bone finish and acrylic sealing.

Up-lighters

Half scale "Chop-Top" skull up-lighters with sunken brain detail cast in Styrene resin for low power electric light mounting.

Thirty were constructed for the dark tunnel walls of a theme park roller-coaster attraction in Japan.

Dragon Skull

A dragon skull constructed for the Japanese fantasy film "LEGEND OF THE DRAGON HUNTERS". Approx. 30 inches long and fitted with fiberglass teeth.

The dragon skull was one of six designed to be filmed in a wet, simulated swamp environment. As it was part submerged in liquid it had to be water resistant and was treated with a clear acrylic coating. The human skull beside the dragon is one of our life-sized models and is provided for scale.
